Rock the #TrendOfDaDay Each day of the week with different flavour in your own way!
Okay my Fashion Bloggettes I know we have a lot of “trending” to catch up on since I’ve been up and down the UK getting you exclusive fashion goss! So do not fear I have not neglected you, Seems like for ever since I have trended and the #TrendOfTheDay has a new snazzy look…been trending with my new iPad so sit back and fill your appetites as I unleash Maniac Mustard!!
This look is great and an amazing tone for this time of year. As the leaves on the trees turn golden and crisp our wardrobes reflect the seasonal adjustment.
I wore my skater style mustard dress with sweetheart neck line. This burst of sunshine is strong and vibrant and looks great against tan and golden bronzes.
Worn smart casually with a mustard pashmina, great for transforming from day to evening wear.
The length is safe but worn with a high stiletto heal can give that cheeky flavour to the outfit. I preferred to wear this look without tights but tan gloss light denier’s would work well.
Neck scarf is optional, I chose to wear a silk, golden mustard neck tie giving this trend a European feel.
Minimal Jewellery and an up do completed with a large bun which has been a fave look for me this season, enable the outfit to stand out demanding full attention.
Make up can be enhanced with embellishers and seasonal bronze pallets, deep terracotta blush applied in a linear fashion with a deep gold highlighter and matt brown low lighter to contour.
Eyebrows kept sharp, heavy with the brow shapers and highlighted strongly under brow bone. Lids can be left naked with a dramatic liquid eye liner effect lower lid thick yellow gold liners.
Here however I used a tiny bit of black shadow in the creases of my socket to soften and shape the eye.
Try your own Manic Mustard look, its fun, its vibrant and you can go crazy on the deeper shades of yellows and gold’s.

#PARIS FASHION WEEK BEST BITS
"As white as Couture"
Location: Paris
Date: Tues 4th & Weds 5th Oct
The sun has set on Spring/Summer 2012 fashion weeks. Luxury and art was abound during this week of fashion in Paris and blossomed in the most decadent and pomp infused ways. Where else would you come across an all white carousel spinning with Louis Vuitton models?
A fantastic subversive fairytale land spun out of control at the Louis Vuitton Spring '12 show. Designer Marc Jacobs' constructed an enormous white carousel filled with models and modern edgy spring looks. The cheeky collection featured chilly pastel colours, motorcycle jackets, and, my personal favorite, laser-cut lace skirts veiled in silk cellophane.
A yellow and white laser-cut appliqué jacket dress displayed the fragile workmanship of the brand and Jacobs' commitment to excellence. This will surely be the jacket of spring.
Leave it to Marc Jacobs to close Paris Fashion Week with a triumphant carousel fantasyland BANG of a show for Louis Vuitton that had everyone speculating even more about his rumored move to the house of Christian Dior. If there's anyone in fashion right now who puts on a Killer Show (we're talking full-on theatrics, as also evidenced at New York Fashion Week), it's Mr. Jacobs, the reigning king of modern luxury. His only peer in this department currently is Karl Lagerfeld, who also creates spectacular fashion week shows of the more classic luxury variety at Chanel, followed closely by Diors, John Galliano.
Models hopped off their horses one by one to saunter past a celeb-packed front row that included Olivia Wilde, Nicole Richie, and Alexa Chung, all perfect muses for Louis Vuitton Spring 2012.
The collection felt like a whimsical Easter parade of frothy femininity and included fuller knee-skirts topped with moto-style jackets that had exaggerated collars. Rounding out the accessories were matching-hued handbags (obvs, this is Louis!) and pointy pumps tipped in silver that are officially on our most wanted list.
Daisies were a popular motif and color seemed to bleed into the light fabrics. All of the models wore elegant top knots swept back by white headbands, which makes this, truly, the year of the bun. Oh, and closing the show? Kate Moss, of course, a vision in white, feathered daisy elegance. Overall, there was a whole Umbrellas of Cherbourg vibe that has us wondering if this really is going to be Marc's swan song for the label. If it is, he's definitely left us with something to remember him for, hands down the crème de la crème of runway shows this fashion week.
The biggest catwalk ever known to man...a colossal runway show definitely a privilege to be sat front row at, to witness such innovation 1st hand. As the Chanel models merged from a mammoth bubble which was lined with other bubbles. Its as if you were in an under the sea world which was Karl Lagerfeld's vision.
A continuation of the Louis Vuitton pastel pallet, this video is also a must watch!
FRONT ROW
Ms Alexa Chung the Tv presenter turned trend icon sauntered across the front Row of the Spring Summer 2012 Chanel collection looking very simplistic sporting the miss match Trend with a casual black Chanel bag, grey dolly loose fit tunic dress and nude low heal shoes. I'd of definitely opted for a higher heel with this look.
Hollywood actress Uma Thurman also flew to Paris for the show. Looking quite Europen with tweed long blazer jacket and 50's reminiscent style pinnyform dress.

#SHOEWATCH "GLITZ&GLAM" #TRENDOFDADAY
All that glitters may not be gold but its definitely "ON Trend".
This season sees some of the most glistening fantasy 6 inchers making us women feel like a fairytale princess.
Although shoe mogul Mr Christian Louboutin lost his court case to be the owner of Red Sole trademark he is still on top of the shoe trend with the latest embellished Swarovski Daffodil range.
Seen on international yummy mummy of the moment Beyonce who definitely runs my shoe world wearing my favourite's, the white Swarovski daffodils. Only one so privileged can wear them casually with skinny jeans and a loose fit nude top to a the NBA All stars game (sat nxt to hubby Jay-Z).
The look is mismatched with a very natural relaxed mix of garment. Very current, the "accidental" trend. Simplisticly worn with killer embellished stiletto's that make the outfit choice come together. Wearing night time heels with day time clothes is my speciality but now trending. Matching out...Mismatching in.
After the popularity of whites in the recent couture collections across the European Fashion weeks especially Paris (which I will give you the scoop on next) and recent endorsements of the snow white diamond encrusted daffodil. Over this coming festive period expect to see white being the new black and a wedding favourite for any celebrities walking down the aisle (surprisingly not chosen by Louboutin fiend Ms Kardashian at her recent knot tying endeavours).
A hott Red Carpet favourite also, already previewed by Hiedi Klum at Elton Johns Aids Foundation Oscar Viewing party back in February.
Not all of us can squeeze the piggy bank hard enough to see enough dosh drop out to cop these aspirational Loubs. Good job we've got the high-street retailers on our side to recreate the High Fashion Shoe trends at "working class" prices. Schuh's version, not as high an instep but very Cinderella at the ball like. Reflective heels and slight platform a round toe imitation of the Red Sole Must haves. Although were apart of their last season collection I have a feeling that the retailer along with many others will be revisiting sugar coated shiny "shoe-adise"so keep an eye out and stay On Trend!...Stay Sxc xx
#LFW HIGHLIGHTS BEYONCÈ "HOUSE OF DEREON" LAUNCH
"Who Run The World"
Location: Selfridges London
Date: Mon 19th Sept
As London Fashion Week warms up Mrs Jay-Z aka Baby Bump Beyonce Dropped her New House Of Dereon collection at the prestige department store Selfridges side by side her devoted mother Tina Knowles.
Almost looking like sisters the fabulous pair walk the runway in almost matching Black numbers. Tina sports a pair of Black skinny jeans with a skater style tunic and fitted leather blazer jacket. Simplistic but worn well on her very in shape physique. Giving a relaxed urban feel down played against her daughters all in one cheeky cleavage revealing sequence jumpsuit complete with black classic "Daffodil" Christian Louboutins.
The collection was a diverse mix of tribal African prints, vibrant and bold using slightly more voluptuous models to display her runway goodies. I really like the use of ethnicity in the design process, a reoccurring trend across the Fashion Week board so far. Definitely Spring Summer trend to be seen in high streets 2012.
Mixed with a healthy dose of contemporary silhouettes the collection was so different from previous pieces of the fashion house. Reminiscent of a continuation from Beyonce's current single "Who Run The World"
Hair and make up was very earthy too. Glowing radiant complexions against bold creative tribal inspired markings. The use of gold body art and bright sky blue lipstick was a prominent trademark of the runway show.
Loving the built up hair does and traditional head wraps bringing the Afro-centricity back into style. I wonder if Ms B will be going Au-Naturel and earthy over the next 9 months.
Getting some front row action was Mr "Wizzy Wow" Wretch 32 and "Chippy Chip" Chipmunk turning up to Oxford Streets Largest Department Store in there relaxed street boi attire.
Quirky singer Mr Hudson didn't want to miss out on some "House Of Dereon" goodies spotted sat next to at the Former S Club Seven's Rachel Stevenson. Looking interesting in his suede brown vintage suit buttoned across his black casual t'shirt like a cockney lad. Rachel going with casual approach...leather look last season leggings and lace tunic.
The Saturday's Vannessa White and Rochelle Wiseman looking a little miss matched in red polka dot pin up inspired dress and faded grey skinny jeans, loose fit blazer an nude lightweight cami. Not exactly A list fashion show attire.
The lovely massively talented Alexandra Burke wouldn't miss her Diva Idols collection launch for the world! Wearing a little black dress with in trend lace arms am sure she will be sporting some "House of Dereon" favourites very soon.

#TRENDOFDADAY: GOLDEN-ANGELIC
Rock the #TrendOfDaDay Each day of the week with a different flavour in your own way!
So the last week in September was where the glorious sun has been hiding all year. Well she had her hat on in full effect giving all you sun angels a last min golden brown glow to take into the autumn. And with it we must keep our style on point!
This week was a last flash of the legs and Tan Platform Wooden Sandals. Definitely gives this look that fashion edge. Finished with a hott golden wine mix nail polish, adding that wow factor.
With the heat being pretty intense and on the humid side, I opted for a soft cream chiffon layered dress. Its ruffles add a playfulness and length paired with heals adds a risqué factor transferable from day to night. I used my favourite tan waist belt to clinch it in at the waist. This gives the outfit a little more charisma and shape but still flirts with the idea of being prepared for anything. The mustard scarf is optional, gives a daytime feel. Could also be tied around bag handle just to add character. Remove for an evening look.
Left minimal with no danglies, jewellery and hair scraped back this leaves the make up to stand alone and carry itself. For complexion I used only cover sticks in selected areas to conceal where needed. I used my matifyer mixed with complexion enhancer for a warm glow without shine. To get an even blended tone with my stipple brush I smoothed over in circular motions applying a tiny amount of crème to powder compact to the tips. To seal a two way powder was used heavily to regain some coverage, topped with bronzer on cheeks and t-zone, probably the last time l'll have the bronzer out for a while.
Cheeks were contoured much with terracotta and chocolate blush cheekbones swept with radiant highlighter. Eyes were kept to a two shade maximum 2day. This trend is more about ficus on radiant complexion so when creating "Golden Angelic" focus on cheek or lip rather than eye-shadow. To start I used concealer pen to matt and even and reflect the light. This way your eye-shadow will stay on longer and look smother. I highlighted under the brows with a gold shimmer that shade warms to different skin tones. I also swept it along the lid before using a small about of black to shadow in the socket. All applied with fingers to smudge and blend.
Finished with a Charismatic rosy wine lipstick with a radiant lacured finish.
Try this look with black skinny jeans or leggings too. Try replacing the scarf with large beads...Stay Sxc xx

#LFW HIGHLIGHTS
"The Good, The Bad & The Innovative"
Location: London
Date: Fri 16th / Sat 17th / Sun 18th
With big shoes to fill after the phenomenal New York Shows, its Lavish London's turn to step up and strut.
Friday Kicked off from 9am sharp, a day filled with an abundance of designers starting with Paul Costelloe to PPQ.
There is definitely a continental European feel throughout his collection although he is an Irish man his Parisian education and work experience is very prominent in his design process. His trademark being a coat cut for glamour and everyday he took inspiration from 1970 Paris silhouettes and aims to take his designs to the exciting new Chinese markets.
Here's a sneaky insiders eye view into the most innovative designers of the day. If you are someone who desires something different then press play and have a look at the St Andrews University student who pioneered the "urinal Dress" Philip Colbert of label The Rodnik Band.
Saturday, West End saw a 16:00 showing of The House of Holland. A collection of print colour miss matching and quirkiness. Designer Henry Holland originally from Ramsbottom, designs are created with the "London Girls" Aesthetics in mind, taking inspiration for his current collection from "skinheads", film "Leon" and Spanish furniture. As diverse as his inspiration is his collection, press play for front row seats.
Legendary designer never failing to disappointing, in the city at 18:00 tea time was the Spring 2012 catwalk launch of Vivienne Westwoods Red Label.
As always she lived up to hear amazing reputation. The ambiance and the use of fabric manipulation was intense.
She used her historical influences in hair and make up as well as in her silhouettes.
I really enjoyed the styling of this collection. Head scarves dangling from built up hair styles. Lush. I can see this structured way of hair styling diffusing into popular culture in 2012.
One of my favourite collections on Saturday showing at 20:45 in West End was definitely Fashion Fringe. So much diversity and daring styling. Horror film like feel starting off with white metallics and voluptuous sleeves reminding me of angles against Black intense outfits reminding me of demons. The video is a must watch.
"Fashion Fringe was set up seven years ago by Colin McDowell in association with IMG Fashion, in response to the need to support young talented designers in London and to keep them in London. The aim is to discover, nurture and sustain cutting edge design talent across the UK and since 2004 the inspirational and committed business model has helped launch more than thirteen designers onto the London fashion scene.
The annual project culminates with the Fashion Fringe catwalk event taking place as part of London Fashion Week in September." Parts of this collection for me was reminiscent of Supima who showcased last week in New York.
Sunday saw Anna Wintour snooping around but without Nikki Minaj this time, but surrounded by the likes of Kate Moss and Kristin Stewart.
10:00 in central London popular for their bag designing, Mulberry showcased their 2012 Spring / Summer collection. Take a look.
For me the most Innovative designers had to be the Fashion East collections who launched their Spring 2012 collection in Central London on Sunday at 12:00. A 10 year track record in the industry launching new exciting homegrown designers.

Too many to name but feast your eyes on the best bits.
Paul Costelloe opened the show immediately setting a different tone showcasing Spring Summer trends in a way we had not seen in New York. Colour pallets still consistent with nudes hints of subtle colour and metallics but reflective of English weather, Costelloe's Spring 2012 included duffel coats and Menswear calf length Macs.
