Shooting with a new model today.Love shooting on Sundays always relaxed. Met a Young lady called Aisha who would be our model for the day. My first thoughts was lovely young girl, shy and modest.Off to a slow start which is normal at shoots especially when working with new artists. 1st peice worked well against the white background, very sassy and risqué, brought a cheeky side out of the model. Good warm up now on to the next look.
Wanted something with a little more class, a signature look from the House of Deeja Couture. That was definitely achieved by this ivory 2 piece. Lots of embelishment on the corset of this garment, pearls, beading and diamanté detail. For this reason we took her long seductive curls up in to a large bun. Very in season and a recurring look in popular culture. Style prediction is that we will see buns becoming much larger and inventive in this coming season.
The third outfit was when the shoot really took off. This divine 2 piece corset and high wasted skirt complete with seductive ruffles which complement the female physique. The colour contrast with grey and popping pink a big trend for Autumn /Winter 2011. Following the colour blocking fanatic this will be watered down with nudes and tans showing lots of flesh and transparency. The make up look as well was absolutely on trend with bright pink lips being a massive make up bag must have this season, rocked on all the "whos whos" in "Celebdom". From the Risqué Rhianna to Top Model Tyra Banks Hott Pink Lips are definitely the "in thing" right now.
Lastly we added a couture colour blocked Goblin Green Gown..worn by Miss Deeja Couture herself. Stunningly accessorised with head wear and gigantic sheek bun. Very 40's esq we themed this outfit around a vintage film-star elegant long cigarettes and strong cheek bone, toned down with a natural brown / bronze lip. This colour scheme worked beautifully against her caramel skin tone.
