Its been a Hott week in true Big Apple style the Premier of the Fashion Capitals, New York really set a high standard as they kicked off a long list of high fashion Runway shows.
Raising the bar from the very first day showing next Springs 2012 women's ready to wear collection was the well renowned Max Azria's 1989 founded label, BCBGMAXAZRIA.

Showing in the Theatre at 10am sharp BCBGMAXMARIA unleashed a collection of loose fit light weight fabric with mixtures of Nudes blocked with vibrant colour, showing splashes of electric blues, mustards greens and the use of transparency, silks and tribal prints.
Spring 2012: Vibrant Tribal Influenced
New York Fashion week definitely started with an explosion of on season trends presented so gracefully and chic. A recent reoccurring Hollywood trend that has been seen rocked on the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Kardashian is the reflective Silver gown. This also made a preview at 2pm on the Stage by Japanese contemporary evening dress designer Tadashi Shoji.
Metalic One Shoulder On Trend Gown
This was my favourite collection of the day embracing femininity, luxury, and style with the most gorgeous silhouettes which are so reflective of the best trends of the season.

use of high split & Transparancy
The nude colour scheme was used with a variety of fabrics from luscious silks to airy fairy chiffons this worked really well with the use of transparency, so sexy without being too provocative. "Gracefully Risqué".
Lavender's 2012 Premiere
Another clever element of this runway show for me was the use of colour that popped the collection and kept you interested. Shoji showcased colours not seen this season such as this Lavender, strapless, semi transparent gown with side split.
